Andromeda Shawl

I love making this shawl! Since I discovered the Daisy Knitter, Crazy Daisy Winder, Daisy Loom last year, I have been obsessed with the possibilities of these simple flowers.

Most flower loom pattern books contain items that are merely glorified granny squares. Blech! But, I located a few vintage booklets for the early flower looms. WOW! the creativity in the joinery is amazing.

I’ve scanned through these publication for inspiration. I found a daisy doily and envisioned a shawl using the stitching pattern. The Andromeda shawl was born. This pattern is absolutely stunning in white! The perfect shawl for a bride.
